.62 CALIBER PAINTBALLS - First of all, we would like to extend a very big thank you to all the .62 caliber paintball testers that were able to help us put this project together.  Without you guys breaking out those old .62 caliber markers, we wouldn't have been able to get the ball as precise as needed for the markers.  A special thank you also goes out to Larry Blair who furnished us with a .62 caliber marker for testing.  You can check out his web site at http://www.smg60user.homestead.com which features information on the SM60 owners group.

The .62 caliber paintballs work nicely in the markers and in the .62 caliber blowguns.  Although it has been about 3 months in the making, the big moment is here.  Wednesday, September 12, 2001, the paintballs are going to production.  Tuesday, September 18, 2001 they will be finished.  They need two days to dry so we're looking at Thursday September 20, 2001 for shipping.

Tippmann Pneumatics contacted us to pick up some of those paintballs.  They have several big paintball tournaments coming up where they plan on featuring the balls and letting people know they are back.  They would like to put together a tournament that features the .62 caliber paintballs with markers and call it "nostalgia days."  That should be a ton of fun for those of you that have been waiting so long to get back in the game with your markers.  We'll keep you posted as we hear more on this.  Rumor also has it that if the requests keep coming in to Tippmann on the .62 caliber markers like they have been, they may remake the old marker and bring it back and/or make a new one.  We'll also keep you posted on this as we hear more.  If you want to e-mail Tippmann and request this production on a .62 caliber marker, I'm sure they would be happy to hear from you.
