The picture you see above is the sample we have received.  This is a magnificent work of art.  The performance of this blowgun has surpassed what our expectations were of a "handmade blowgun."  This is a functional blowgun.

HELPFUL INFORMATION:  The name of the wood used in most of the Borneo blowguns is called "Berlian" which literally means diamond wood.  The wood is mainly found in the tropical jungle in Borneo.  The wood becomes harder the longer you keep them and they are the favorite material for tools and handicraft in Borneo.  Blowguns made from hardwood are better than bamboo because they are more durable and some hardwood species are termite resistant.  However, blowguns made from good quality bamboo, which we provide,  are equally durable.  These are lighter and more mobile.

Some of the blowguns we are looking to purchase have been passed down from generation to generation.  There are blowguns with mouthpieces carved from the skull of a hornbill bird.  These will be considered as "Limited Editions."  This makes a wonderful addition for the collector of blowguns.  Our goal is to secure authentic and good quality blowguns form these tribesmen and have them available to our customers at an affordable price.

OUR OPPORTUNITY:  We have been given the opportunity to have access to authentic handmade Borneo blowguns to be distributed here in the USA.  These blowguns are handmade and crafted by indigenous tribes in Borneo using hardwood, bone, bamboo and tropical oak source from the tropical forest.  Due to the nature of the materials used and handmade unique design of each person making the blowgun and the tribe making the blowguns may differ slightly in color and motifs from time to time.  No two blowguns made are the same.  These blowguns can be used on a daily basis.  Due to the beautiful designs and workmanship of each blowgun, they would be useful as a handsome display.  Collectors, add this to your collection of blowguns.
